Located on Consolat del Mar street, which has seen the bustle of products arriving to the port of Barcelona from other areas of Catalonia for centuries, this small venue has been restored by Txema Retana, our architect and interior designer. We’ve also added a specially built clay oven in the tradition of the great masters of Naples.

The central focus of it all welcomes guests, the pig sculpture hanging from the high ceilings by artist Mikel Urmeneta, who also drew and expressed on the walls the discourse of PORK, boig per tu!. The long place has tables on each side, creating different microenvironments, with a counter at the end for tastings and from which guests can watch the “I-rational" wood oven.

Such a special space deserves a barrel of “Manzanilla en rama”, artisanal beer taps from Liverpool and the "rebost" (larder) of artisanal cold cuts and Maldonado ham. Warm lighting, furniture found at flea markets and in attics around Europe and New York, alongside a large outdoor seating area in the heart of Barcelona’s historical and port district, presided over by an oak tree that nurtures everything we do and love, pork!
